Albino Olives

Out of interest, does anyone know how much the albino olive pair on herptrader was up for/sold for?

The seller said there were photos published in the Australia Reptiles Magazine. Anyone got these photos? I,d love to see them and can you just buy this Mag at the newsagent?

They were advertised at $25,000. I would have bet my left testicle that they wouldn't sell at that price. Guess I was wrong.

It was 'Reptiles Australia' mag Volume 1 Issue 4 Page 6. They are sold at Newsagents, but this issue has been out for quite some time now.

If you go to http://herptrader.com.au/AlbinoOlive/ you will also get to read the story about them.

Cheers, Judy (aka HerpTrader0

I still got my doubts.....who would fork out that sort of money that quickly for something that in the past hasn't sold for the asking price.

I maybe wrong, but seems like a very quick sale, i would believe it if it was a breeding pair of GTPs, but a hatchling pair of albino olives

You may not have to forfit any body parts just yet simon.
In the last reptiles Oz mag (vol 1 issue 5) there was a full page ad for the entire colony 200k plus

Hey guys, I can assure you personally that the pair of albino Olives did actually sell that fast and for $25,000. This pair was offered at half the price that they are normally offered for.
