You can only purchase reptiles from a licensed dealer in WA - no sales of animals permitted between hobbyists. So you're kind of stuck with it...

You should have got a list of dealers from CALM when you got your licence, check that out, there are quite a few non-shop dealers.

I have some Perth death adders available, but as Pythoninfinite said, the transaction must be through an appropriately licensed dealer. And you youself would need a Category 5 licence.

You would be best to contact some of the non- pet shop dealers on your dealers list you should have received from CALM.
If you don't have a current one, contact Adrian Coleman at CALM, and I'm sure he'll fix you up with one.
As has been previously discussed, you cannot purchase legally a reptile from anyone without a dealers licence in WA. Some dealers are currently 'brokering' between two parties wishing to sell an animal to another keeper, but I am not sure of the legality of that, so perhaps you should investigate before considering that as an option.
The price you are seeing for Reptiles here in Perth doesn't fluctuate much whether it is from a dealer or arranged through a dealer keeper to keeper, as most people who own a snake they paid $1200 for wouldn't sell it for $400 for example- they'd be mad to- I certainly wouldn't! So unfortunately, we're stuck with the crappy prices for now. One thing you can monitor, and know is that for your money, there are certain dealers who are better than others, so research your dealer when you decide to buy a reptile!

yea ive spoken to twon dealers to day and have been to se one south of the river and let me tell you for the 45 min drive i was totaly dis a pointed
out of the 3 snakes he showed me two had issues he was way cheaper
but im starting to think with snakes pay more and get looked arfter ?
im going to see gary at west aussie any one had any good things from him or bad ?
