Tim,

Yes you are correct. Actually both girls had eggs after being with the first breeder. One was egg bound and was operated on by Terri Bellamy and the second girl laid a small clutch which went off in the incubator. However all eggs were infertile when they were opened up and examined.

The trouble is more than likely caused by the males very low sperm count, which was tested many times under a high powered microscope. Graeme would have more of a chance of being sucsessful if he tried a new male. However it could also be the females ova were not strong enough due to their age.

As for their ages, yes I have a 20year old olive that has bred for my the last 14 years straight, just like Barkers GTP and Graemes Woma. BUT there is a difference. These snakes have been sexually reproductive from a young age and continually bred. To have a very old female that has never bred is very different. Their reproductive system could easily not be working properly due to lack of use over all those years.

Sorry Tim, I read it wrong. I thought you stated they had none. I have never seen an Aussie GTP with a consistant line either. They are normally broken lines of spots as on the pic of Graemes animals.

He also worked miracles on the female BHP I now have that had over 200 rat and bird bites on her body.
Are some people that stupid, Thats a lot for a snake to survive. Is it healthy now? Do there scars dissapear after numerous sheds?

Good looking snakes. Just wondering, why are the heat pits on the top lip near the nose so much bigger then the ones on carpets?
