Thats awesome elapid.. I also paint and find it really relaxing.. have been thinking for a while about doing something reptile based....

thanks for the reply its good that i here opinions for my next painting. here is one i done similar to the reptile painting but sharks. my next painting will give more fine detail but individual speices of australian reptiles.Attachment 21101

it is saying it is in invalid.

I think the first paiting is wild and creative that would of taken alot of thought/planning and time great work. I am too an artist and I have tryed many attemps to paint and draw reptiles but find them as hard as faces and hands lol I find that the BHP's are the easiest to paint though. great job and look forward to seeing more.

I have no problem with either but without sounding like an art critic the snake canvas would be somewhat difficult to match as an ornament due to the free flow of drastic colour.

west afrcan gaboon viper

i know this is not native to australia but i wish it was. this one i did when i was at work when i had nothing to do. If only i could be a snake for a day , what would i be. a tiapan? no _ eatern brown? no_ file snake ? no way or a gaboon viper_ for sure.Attachment 21238
