Just wondering some things about black and gold jungles:
How long do they average in size?
What enc. size is suitable for an adult?
Do they need UVB?
What temp. would the basking area need to be?
Thanx in advance
Cheers

I've got my two (which are both approx. 5ft) in enclosures roughly 55x60x72cm (from memory, size might not be exact), but a little bigger would be better (I think 3x2x2 would be good, but you could go even bigger still).
They don't need UVB.
Mine have a basking spot of about 31c. |

They are. Mine are higher than they are wide or deep, if not much :-)
Mind you, they're pretty hardy. My ex and I once bought a 3yo male from a well-known breeder and it had been kept its entire life in a plastic storage box without things on which to climb and it was in perfect health. |
