RE: Best snake at s.o.f.a.r.s 2004 exspo

It seems like most produced by J Montgomery have heaps of yellow tipping or flecking likediamonds do.I have a pair from him as well and one is almost the splitting image of Shanes with the same amount of yellow flecking in the black and the female doesn't have quite as much but still more than you would find in any wild jungle.....i'll try get some pics but it's a shirty day for pic taking but i think this is something that has to be brought up wether these are actually true jungles and the cream of the crop costing $800 a hatchling or are they crosses.

I know they are originally from the Krauss lineage but i also have some from Krauss and they look nothing alike with no to a tiny amount of almost mustard yellow third colour or ground colour, the others are getting some brown in the black which isn't that solid.

So are they jungle diamond crosses or not...i'm sure someone knows the exact details?????

best snake at sofar 2004 exspo

Hi all.As for the jungles looking more diamond it does have quite a lot of latral spottingin the black back ground colour. There a two forms of top quality jungles available in the country todaywitch are the form bred by john montgomry witch tend to be the highly spooted form. And the unspotted or more clear blackform with the back ground colour looks more like dark black charcol.I have kept both forms. And i have found different people prefureeither one or the other. And some prefure the cleaner blck. And some prefure the spotted form.I myself think each is stunning in its own right. As for the spotted form haveing diamond in its linneage.I have asked the breeder and also spoken tothose that have studied the jungles in there different wild populations. And i am told both forms acure naturaly in wild populations. So just to answer that un answered question that some are thinking of asking.NO I have not and would not cross diamond pythons with jungle carpet pythons!!I breed to improve my animals for health, pattern an general allround quality. Not to inbreed and produce crap. Attached find exsamples of both forms regards SHANE from aussie_pythons

Here's an old pic of my male from the same line as a yearling, stunning colour and as you can see the black is full of gold/yellow flecking.I have personally seen a few wild jungles from different localities and some do have a little yellow flecking but nothing to that degree. Also i wasn't saying you bred them if or if they are crosses or not but the history of this lineage could be questioned.Makes you wonder who the judge was and did you thank them Shane lol

Also there are quite a lot of just as good or top quality jungles being bred these days not just the 2 lines bred by John andothers with the same lines!!!
