Thanx guys, I was a little worried I'd over indulged his appetite a little
I bought him in December last year and he was only about 4.5 ft, now he's over 6

He was small for his age when I got him, and a friend was gonna tee up a breeding loan for him. So I fed him up a little, hoping that he'd be up for the job, but that fell through unfortunately.

na he is healthy the easiest way to tell if you are feeding him too much too often is when the face begins to get abit chubby and its not slim and slender as in that pic. if you inderstand basicly it looks like its short and fat. thats what my Male BHPstarted looking like after a month of me having him and I was told he was getting fed too much. But no yours looks very healthy and I'd keep doing what you've been doing very gorgous by the way.

how old is he? he will not be mature anouph to do anything till he is atleast 2.5 - 3 years old no mater how quick you try make him grow the faster he grows the more problems he will form before he is old anouph and I just think that is a hudge waist of an exspencive snake. Mine are about 17months and they are tinny compaired to a mates that are the same age its very amazing, I am now feeding my 2, 1 medium and 1 hopper rat a fortnight each.

cheers Jody

Yep, same snake. Check out the newspaper ads and the ruler. The same. Nice snake though.

beautiful BHP. I really wish that I could find one over here under 5K for a little one. I came across a full grown 8ft male at a local shop, they had him for 1900. Seemed steep to me because no one knew his age, and I didn't want to pay 2K for something that could be 10+ years. Thats definitely on my list of "to get snakes" when my Woma's produce their first batch.
