Awesome little Black head, Ad... as are all of your animals! Do you have any locality info on it? It has similar banding to some of the WA black heads.

thanks guys, springherp definitely qld parents - Julia Ck area. I have a few with really NT style bandings - very dark - until they shed I wont know for sure - this little one is a gem though!
Browns, orange belly fer sure - i have another one with extreme orange in the banding.
As you say all of them are so nice - as far as pythons go - none have nicer hatchies.

thanks whsc and craig.a.c
they are huge hatchies about 12" - 30cm - long.
The eggs are bigger than chook eggs.
most bhp hatchies sold will be 8-12 weeks of age - they take a long time to feed with such a big yolk sack. By 12 months of age they look like small adults already, they grow rapidly.
Aspidites are great snakes, Im sure when you do get one you will love it!
cheers

| | | | Black Headed Python Hatchy pic Nice snake that.QLD is a huge place with great variation in geography, this relates to colour variation from almost black to spectacular.Personally i would like one that was almost black. Most people dont ,ive got one that retained some black but mostly disappears with age |
