Thanx all. Way too big for me to be allowed one of those. I'm after something that grows to about 4ft max. But not sure what to get. I love the look of womas but i understand they are class 2. Is this correct?

Yeah, they are Class 2, but hold your horses, there is talk that they will be changed to Class 1 before too long.

Also, have you checked out Antaresias? Children', Spotted and Stimsons pythons are highly recommended as first snakes. We just got our first Stimmie and love her. They only get to around the 1m mark and most have good temperaments.

You're pretty much only looking at Antaresia's then ----- spotted , childrens or Simsons .
The thing is , when someone says a 7ft snake it sounds huge , but they never seem that big
because they're usually curled up . Also if you buy a young one , you don't really notice them seeming all that big because you've watched it gradually & easily handle the snake as it grows.

We bought a Bredli for our 1st snake. Temperment - was a snappy little bugger at 1st but has calmed down perfectly. We can do almost anything with him now, almost! We liked Wanambi so much we bought a 2nd Bredli. She also has an excellent nature. Can't recommend them enough! 7-8feet we were told is the norm for length. Pic is Wanambi 12 months, freshly shed!
