Cool breeding b & w jungles with b & g

Hi guys and gals,
Im just wondering has anyone ever tried breeding b & w jungles with b & g jungles?
If so has anyone got any pics of the results?
I dont have any plans in doing so and curious on peoples opinions?
Cheers, Daniel

It would be a waste of a nice black and white, and the result wouldn't be that attractive IMO.

I'm sorry about hijacking your thread, but I was thinking about putting this one over a black and white. All I need now is a nice black and white male

true locale b/w jungles are a totally different animal to the b/y and b/g jungles, its almost like putting a diamond with a carpet.

Then we'd have to think of a catchy name to call them to artificially pump up the price of the offspring

What makes them so different? the area in which they are found? Or just the colour?

Just imagine if someone does breed the 2 dif colours and there is a one off with no black just gold and white!

why would it be impossible? Lol if its a freak it makes it more special, i wouldn't think that it would be possible to get rid of the black, im jus throwin it out there!

I think you would just end up with a load of crappy looking jungles with washed colours.

they would look more like athertons i think than either black and gold or black and white. and then once the hatchies grow and they then are bred they will be throwing all sorts of weird looking kids, and weird in this context is not 'different' or 'special' .

somebody had one advertised previously in the for sale thread. have a look back through that hopefully you'll find some pics. it was pretty average, nothing special, looked like a creamy jungle from memory.

I wouldn't cross them. You will end up with a clutch of "hybrid" babies that will be no good for breeding with. You will find that the genetics will be co-dominate which means the yellow and white will mix rather than getting a % of white or yellow. You will end up with light yellows and dirty whites. Then faults like this become dominant and breeding them to another will only reduce the quality of the next generations to come. Keep the colours pure for best results.
