Breeding Darwin Pythons in the SE Queensland area

Gday all, Ive heard that its hard to breed Darwins around here(SE Queensland), and Im wondering peoples thoughts on this and what i should do for a succesfull breeding? They are both healthy snakes and are in seperate enclosures, male has mated before, female a virgin (lucky male). Thoughts.

More a statement then a reason if i remember correctly. To them it was all about breeding times. They seemed to think you had to introduce Darwins earlier then most other species for a succesfull breeding. They had spoken to several other breeders who could breed most other snakes but not darwins. the success this individual had was from introducing the pair 'earlier' then normal. yeah so i suppose some reasoning their.
Just wondering true or baloney? I would like to have a succesfull breeding this year so wondering what peoples past experience have been.

hi earthy,
part of what you were told could be true, my friend has bred hers for the last 2 seasons and they hatched in november both years, so going on the fact that my 3 coastal clutches all hatch between late dec and early jan you might be right, but it could also be just that her pair can't wait until later on, lol,

so going on my dates hers must be mating around june as mine mated around august,

i'm only guessing on her mating dates but i do know they hatched in early november

we live about 10 to 12 hours up the coast from you,

cheers,
steve..........
