Breeding results 2006

Hi guys, I'd love to get some info on breeding results, methods etc to compare and out of interests sake. I have put together some info I'd like to see and then I'm willing to put all your info together and make an info sheet of our results. It would only take a few minutes of your time and I think it would be great for us beginner breeders and intersting to see others outcomes. Thanks in advance!!

Here is what info I'd like, feel free to post a reply or pm if you'd prefer.

Species:
Female age:
Male age:
Breeding method (1 or multiple males):
Eggs laid: (fertile, infertile and slugs)
Incubation type (maternal or artificial):
Incubation temp (if applic):
Incubation time:
Hatchling success rate:
Comments:
Your name: (you may remain anon if you wish)

(any other thoughts here also appreciated)

This may seem aimless to some of you regular breeders however as a first timer I find this info facinating, and I'm sure others would also.
I'd like to keep this thread going for a while now that we are in the thick of breeding season so you help is much appreciated!!!!
Thanks guys
Tanya

Any other suggestions would be appreciated!!!

I did keep it simple didn't I? Only require one or two word replys to 9 q's. If you don't have all the q's answered that's ok too...

It take years of trial and error breeding and months of searching to get that info on one species. Its not info that will be offered up freely particularly by breeders who have done the hard yards.

I dont see why some of the more experienced breeders would not put thier breeding methods up. Especially for the newbies. Jeese its not like a secret fishing spot where someone says where did you go and you say the lake. lol. Come on breeders.

Beleive it or not it is often more serious than that. Some people make a living out of this hobby of ours, it would be stupid for them to give away their secrets.

It is different from area to area, i know that the things i have to do with my bredli here in darwin are completely different to the fellow two hours down the track from me. What works for one breeder definately doesn't always work for the other.
