Hi I just wanted to find out how you breed snakes in general at the moment more looking at BHP's and Jungles, when do you start to cool them off and what temps should they be at, also when do you introduce the male to the female and then when do you take him out and how long after that will you notice that female is gravid and when does she lay eggs, I also want to find out how you make your own incubator and temps for that etc, sorry about questions but couldn't find what i was looking for anywere as each said something different so now confused

Everyone breeds them different. You gotta try different methods and see what works for you. Breeding BHP is most probabally the hardest of the lot as your female will need to be 5 years or older for her to be even interested in male snakes. Even when you have a nice pair of BHP's they are very picky on their partners like humans in a way. Other snakes dont really mind but with BHP's you can have the perfect pair but if they dont like each other theres nothing that can be done. Cool them down in May, just before Winter then raise the temp up again in September. Dont cool them down unless your breeding snakes.
Hope this helps a bit

bhps can mate at 18 months and produce at 2yrs of age.
for bhps cool in april and start mating in may. to cool,- hot days and cold nights.
introduce for a few days and seperate for a few days and just keep doing this for 2-3 months.
jungles are the same but cool in june/ july and start mating in august.

thats what i think anyway
