Visit Facebook Profile
In the book Keeping Children's Pythons by Greg Fyfe & Darren Green there is a whole section on breeding for the whole Antaresia family, it is really really helpful.

Hope that helps.

Reproductive Husbandry of Pythons & Boas (Richard A. Ross, M.D) is an excellent book. Another good but expensive one is Pythons of the World Volume (D & T Barker) plus Incubation of Reptile Eggs (Gunther Kohler). These books can be found online at http://www.mikeswanherpbooks.com.au (Mike Swan Herp Books)

Doc Rock also wrote some great beginners breeding tips in Reptiles Australia Magazine in Volume 2. ( I think)

All the above suggestions are great. But i would just like to say Antaresia are "usually" easier to breed. Ive had success buy keeping males & females seperate during most of the year (even this might not be needed), begin winter cooling around May/June (lower your temps to around 22deg) & periodically introduce your male to your female from June-August. At the end of August return the temps to normal. Ive had success doing this & not even using other stimuli like less daytime lighting (UV) or nightime cooling.
