My thermostat which looks like the one in the picture has broken.the probe which measures the temperature of the enclosure has come off the wire (at the end of the probe) which then goes into the main box. Does anyone know how fix this??? please reply.

From what you describe i'd say it is stuffed. Throw it into the bin and buy a new one.
