Brown Snake V Lizard

Hi'ya,

I just posted this pic on another thread, people seem interested so I thought I would make it its own topic. This was taken last year at Surfers Paradise on a track down to the beach. This fella didn't even care that I got within 5 metres to take the picture...... seemed quite happy with its meal.

That is a cool pic. Would look better if the lizard hadn't pooed itself.

Wouldn't you poo yourself if a brown snake bit you

I suppose I could have gone and rubbed the poo off before the picture. Seemed a little dangerous at the time. I watched a childrens Python and a brown fight to the death a few months ago , felt sorry for the python. No camera unfortunately.

The pooing itself is involuntary. The venom makes all it's muscles screw up and its bowell loosing control. Awesome picture though, i don't htink i would have gone within 5 metres of it.
