hey jimmy have you got a snake yet to feed outside of an enclosure? Also i feed most of my snakes inside enclosure unless there is 2 in the one enclosure as with diamonds and childreni. But the way i get them to get out of a feeding response to something in there enclosure is to use a hook to move there heads away and then grab them 1/2 way down there body and pull them out.

Yeah i have heard of the hook/tap method . i suppose once they get bigger it will make it a lot easier to feed them

definetly will, i reckon you shoudl keep them seperate only because of size difference otherwise i have kept juvie snakes together with no probs, diamonds though that is only had one coastal and he was to big for a little click clack.

The container i have them in at the moment is called a sweater box it is 10 litres and about 300 long 250 wide 130 high so at the moment i think its big enough they have hides both ends and a temp gradient so should be fine

I feed mine in there enclosure, together, but at either end, they are like 4 foot apart, and dont seem to bother with each other, ive also never had a prob with me being associated with food, though i would probably change my methods if it ever did happen.

Angel, I agree that you can feed them like that, but you've got to watch them until they've both nearly finished the meal. I once had a situation where the first one finished much sooner that the second one, and went looking for more food. Had to get in there quick to separate them!
