I love these guys, they're one of my favourites wether they are crosses or not, they're such pretty and placid pythons"yeah i know,i'm sure someone has a snappy one as i had once".I hope mine turn out half as nice as nigmax's.....they are quite a large bulky python with big boofy heads and their colours and patterns from this line seem to vary a lot.

Here's a couple of quick snaps of one of mine...not too often you catch em drinking in a photo

Here is a few pics of the Cape Yorks owned by Indicus.
Fine animals in top condition! Good & Chunky.
These guys were close to a slough, it would be good to have a pic on a sunny day straight after one - Very nice examples of Capers!

Gorgeous animals and like i said big bodied boof headed things Note the very much exact head pattern on this lineage!!!

Here's an oddball out of the clutch but a genuime Cape Yorker from a non related lineage....note very similar head pattern again but this and it's clutch mates have the jungle type skull and crossbones...

Cape york pics

heres a shot of my second adult female.Shes not quite as bulky as the first shot i put up on this thread. But she has more stunning cxolouration.I dont know if use know much about the history of the undiscribed subspecies.Known as the cape york carpet python.I done a little reserch on them and they dont seem to be a true airboreil subspeceis like the coastal or say the jungle. After talking to the person that found the first speciman it was found on the ground and miles from any trees.and actuly so far every one found or at least the fdirst 6 or so were all found miles from trees.and to look at them they appear to have a body more like that of an olive python a semi airboreil.they have a longer ganglier neck and stouter body with a longer tail and most that i have seen are not prefishent climers.but are definetly a stunning looking python.I would be interested in hearing other herps veiw on the matter and there read on the subjct regards SHANE from aussie_pythons

RE: Cape york pics

"Here's a photo i just took of two Capes, that make regular visits to my mice cages......you can see how different they are in colour and pattern......it's now got to the stage that when i see them i give them a feed....both have been wormed and must think there on a good deal as they now visit every few days.......if you want to know if it's a good night to see reptiles you just go and see if there visiting......
