I wish we actually had some snakes around here, nothin much except a few lizards, although at my old house we had some of the most beautiful carpets.

I also found this little fella during the week,i'm pretty sure it's a baby taipan from the head scales.I tried getting a good clear head pic but no luck....I have no idea how it died, may have been guinea fowls which i have on my property.Guinea fowls are increble snake killers,i have seen heaps of dead brown snakes over a period of time on my land and i had no idea what was killing them,it looked like one good bite from something.I only recently learnt it was the guinea fowl doing the killing. Now i think they have to go but they belong to my neighbour.....any ideas? They've been on a thin line for a while now as they make such a bloody horrible sound at 6 am every morning.

Umm This might do it! You'll probably end up getting the neigbours also! Just consider it knocking off numerous birds with one stone!

Browns, I'll bring the air rifle on the next trip through (January)
Only taken 630 pics with that digital camera eh? You need to take some more.
Seriously, tell the neighbour to keep the fowl away or you'll trap them and get rid of them.

guinea fowl cook up good

Ask the neighbor politely to ensure the guinea fowl remain on his property. Remind him/her that there are bylaws about wandering livestock. Should he/she refuse to do anything then go to the council, but once you do that then things can get nasty.

If someone's animal comes on to your property, is it legal to humanely 'relieve it of its duties'? It's something I regularly hear but am unsure of.
