Just felt like posting a picture. This is a male east QLD ("coastal") carpet python, about 15 months old. I bred his father, his mother is owned by Trader and HerpTrader (APS members). I don't really like carpet pythons, but I must admit, I'm quite fond of this little guy |

I took the picture a while ago, I think it would have been with one of the Nikons, perhaps the 8700.

That snake is the least photogenic animal I own and refuses to sit still if a camera is pointed at him. I posted pictures of him about 8-10 months ago and they'd still be the best ones I have of him. All the attempts at body shots I made on the night I took that head shot came out in poor focus or were just a hand restraining a section of a snake, with the head and tail cut out |

Awesome looking coastal Sdaji. Are you still breeding them at all or do you know who is breeding this particular lineage?

NSavage: I'll have a go at breeding two of that one's grandparents again this year. Fingers crossed, but there I'm not sure whether or not there will be any babies. In the past those two have produced some brilliant looking things.
Rep-Style: hehe, I never noticed that He looks sort of evil

Don't get too excited; as many people around here will tell you, I have a pretty twisted mind!
