At what age is it ok to feed chicken necks? Are they just as good for the snake as rodents? And has anyone fed them to jungles? |

I use them every second feed. |

As devil said as long as they are the same size i wouldnt see it being a problem, i feed em to my jungles and my male loves them and my female who is a bit fussy will take them without too much messing around either. I probably started using them when my snakes were just over a year old.
Cheaper than rats too.....

I dont feed necks that are any bigger than about 1.5 times the diameter of the width of the snakes head. Maybe im just being over cautious though. |

My b&g is just over a year old as well so I might see how she goes on one today. Also do you feed your jungle at night or during the day? |

I find the chicken necks normally take a bit longer to defrost as they are a pretty solid chunk of meat and bone so make sure they are nice and bendy and soft before feeding. I find in the big bags of chicken necks you can buy from woolies you will often get a few big ones and heaps of smaller ones so finding a few little ones to try first shouldnt be a problem.
Cheers,

It is helpful as I work in a mine and am away for 2 weeks at a time so now the boss can feed my girl why I am away. |

Not Too Sure About The Nutritional Value So Sprinkled A Little Supplement On Them.i Am Now Thinking Every 3rd Or 4th Feed Might Be Chicken Necks 4 Large Ones Cost Me 59 Cents. Any More Oppinions Appreciated Thanks.
