Children python feeding Q

Hi all i have a pair of childrens pythons, the male is 3-4yo & 80-90cm & will only have 1 adult mouse every 3-4 weeks, but the female is 2-3yo & 70 -80cm & has 2 sub-adult to adult mice every 7-10 days is this normal or am i overfeeding her?, the thing is she readily takes the second no probs no hesitation, when i got them a couple of months ago(my first snake & pair) he was thicker than her but now she's probably quarter-half his girth again?. Any suggestions welcome & sorry for the long winded story.
Pete.
