the colours to lean towards a childreni more than a stimson, in my 1000-post+ experience.

Maybe cross between the 2 as for a long time they were all recognised as the same species and were bred as such so can be very difficult to find a purebreed childrens or stimmi. But nice snakes any way hope you enjoy it.

I would say a childreni. It's blotches seem to be smaller then usualy seen on stimmies, also the blotches aren't very prominent (childrenis fade as they get older).

Hi Jessie

I would definitely say it is a Stimsoni, as I own 2 myself. But I'm also wondering if your little guy/girl is coming up for a shed, as he/she looks very dull in colour?

How I tell the difference between Childreni and Stimsoni is the distinctive live that runs down their back. This line makes a definite separation of at least 80% of their blotches.

Here is a piccy of mine...notice the same line running down her back, you can even see the line that runs down the side of her as GARTHNFAY suggested to you earlier. So even though faded, you can still pick out these definite lines and markings that your little Stimmy has!

Hope this helps

Wayne

I would say stimsons maybe just a duller variety as I've seen many different colours, patterns etc. Some are stunners and others a little drab.
