| | Suspended | Join Date: Mar-06 Location: Melbourne Gender:  | | | | Hrmm, i change my feeding all the time with any snakes, childreni i've fed slow fast and at what people would call a normall rate, it's really up to you thouhg i think most people are going with the once a week thing. I'd say it has to be a good 70-80cm's to go into a 4ft tank but it's up to you really.

|  | weird but wonderful Subscriber | Join Date: Jan-07 Location: sydney Age/Gender: 21  | | | | feeding i've ead every 7-10 days but i know big breeders who only feed every 2 weeks. if you want them to go in a 4ft i would just wait till a good size adult comes along, from most people i've talked to 3ft is a big as they need/like, but as you've probably figured out about snakes a lot of it is just opinion. personally i wouldn't put anything smaller then a 2 and bit foot childrens in a 4ft, but you never know they are different.

Up untill now i have had mine in about 600x450x450 enclosure. When he was smaller i had him in a smaller tub around 250x150 inside the enclosure with half of it almost under the heatlamp. Hope that helps, i am sure you will work it out. Just make sure you have a temp gradient, a hide, waterbowl and he can't get out and you should be sweet. |

Here is a pic of my bredli enclosure, i just set another one up the same for my childrens last week. it is 3x2x2, the snake is approx 90cm now. |
