Yay, another magic roundabout fan. It was either Zeb or Ermitrude (the cow from memory)

Alas a legacy of a miss spent youth.

I was a young teenager living in London where at the time the Magic Roundabout had a cult following. One had no choice but to learn the characters with all their quirks. Zebedee was definitley the one on a spring who made the cute noises.

Did you see the episode of The Goodies where the Magic Roundabout puppets got elected to govenment and went feral? - A true puppet government ;-) ;-)

The goodies were great!

Alas the only bit I remember was "You're using people! And Donny Osmond"

You don't remember the episode where the Goodies saved pommyland from a plague of Rolf Harris's?

Very selubrious

Seriously i know of a couple of people who predicted the sex of greens they'd purchased going by the tail and were right"fluke maybe,i don't know",not sure if they used the same technique as Pilbara does and i know his way works sensationally with carpets but have no idea if it would apply to greens,i'm sure he would know if it can be done or not.Going by his method i would say male and i bet i'm half right

I would never guarantee the sex of that python from those pics but it look like it may be a female.
Who ever believes though that this is not a fool proof method is clearly lacking experience.
You must always remember that if you can't see the hemipene thickness but are still not sure then you need to probe. I have trouble sometimes with young stimsons and have to probe myself. Sexing adults however it is an absolute piece of cake.
And just because some body claims they can do this method with 100% but can't, doesn’t mean that others can't.

Browns
I do not have enough experience with sexing greens and have only ever sexed one of a pic and I got it right but so what, like every one has said, there was a 50% chance I was going to get it right. I do believe though I could tell if I had them in my hands to inspect at many angles.

lol told ya i was half right which may also be half wrong, although i thought you would know Dave, very handy skill if looking at investing in greens that's for sure!

Also a good investment growing it to size to be safely sexed and selling as a guaranteed sexed animal,a big return in a small amount of time but also a massive risk when it could easily drop dead or prolapse on you unless you're spot on with husbandry as Hydra certainly seems to be,a pity they turn green they're such gorgeous looking animals when all yellow and surprisingly tiny hqatchlings.

I have heard that some people have had them fall off their perch and lying on the ground looking and feeling dead as a doornail and then suddenly coming round only to be found back up on their perch,i'm not sure of how much truth is in that but from someone who owns them etc,and if true i wonder how many have been frozen etc when they could possibly have still been alive.

The wierdest thing with greens is watching one take a dump,i freaked the first time i saw it,their insides come out and then go back in again , scary looking stuff!!
