g day, just bought my first coastal of pails for scales and will pick it up this week, ive just set up the enclosure with an heat emiter and a thermostat, but i still have to make a mesh cage for the emiter, but anyway i havent got a hide for it yet because i read somewhere that large pythons dont need one because they will just like to curl up in the corner as they are so big they feel safe, anyway just wanted to see if it was true, and can anyone post pics of there coastal cages please, cheers

a hide is always a good idea. regardless of how big your snake is, chances are when it's just eaten or is about to shed he'll want to hide away.
