Coastal x Diamond Pics

Hi, Just boasting about our coastal x diamond. Have had him since September and he is approx 1.50 metres long and about 3 years old. Not sure how much coastal or diamond or if he is too short or too long but he is very friendly and settled in well, considering he is our first snake. Have had trouble getting weanling rats, so looks like we have to breed them ourselves (another chore). Have realised that, for a minimal amount of maintenance for a pet, snakes can become quite costly; enclosures, lights, heating, food, etc. As usual, the pet is the cheapest part, the set up is neverending. Hope the photos do him justice.

Mollie, you obviously love your beautiful snake, but it is a brave person who uses the "X" in regards to pythons! She certainly looks well cared for.

Not knowing much about snakes, only been leapt at by king browns and dodging eastern browns in paddocks, plus unwrapping old scrubbies, (or murray darlings, or as I knew them, plain old carpet pythons) off hubbies arms when he brought them home from out of the paddock, I believed the guy who we bought our snake from and so that is what he is. Still, we liked his colours and even though he bit hubby on their first meeting, they get along really fine now.
