| | | cold bredli
hey everyone,
i just brought a baby bredli a couple of weeks ago and the little cridder wasnt eating, but i found out it was becouse i was turning the heat lamp off at night and the poor thing was freezing his *** off. for the past couple of nights ive been leaving it on keeping him happy and last night i left a fuzzy out for him and this morning it was gone but my problem is ive accidently broke the heat bulb an hr ago and dont have a spare one . i was wondering is it goin to b a problem that he goes with heat again tonight? im worried that he wont b able to digest the fuzzy because the heat wont b there again. i was goin to put a light bulb in there to try and give him atleast a little heat but i thought having a light on at night might annoy him more then being cold?
does any1 have any ideas or do u think he will be ok for tonight as long as i get a replacement for tomorrow night?

Light bulb will be fine. Just might need to raise his basking spot up a little bit. She'll be right. ;-)

If you've got some spare light bulbs and some spare red/lue paint you could paint a light bulb.(i think, just what i've heard)

I really wouldn't be concerned, he will have digested a fair bit already, you said it was a fuzzy? If he is a good eater there won't be any dramas. Just keep an eye on him if you are worried and it gives you peace of mind.
Just remember, out in the wild there are no heaters and they do just fine.
