Cool Stimmie feeding pics

I just moved my Stimmies into a bigger enclosure this week. Everything I have read about Stimmies lead me to believe they were mainly terrestrial and didn't climb much but as soon as they went into their new house they went straight for the highest point....on top of the fluro. It is now their favourite place to literally 'hang out' and one of them even had a feed tonight while hanging (pics attached) which I thought was a little unusual.

Does anybody else's Stimmies climb and hang much?

Cool pics! Our female Stimmy loves to climb. They have a big exoterra enclosure at the moment and she got to the top, went along the background and actually pushed the corner clip out of the roof and escaped! Thankfully she just sat on top and waited to be noticed. She's a show-off!

Nice Stimmies, and a nice enclosure - your Stimmies are most likely on the fluro because it gives off quite a bit of heat, this might suggest that they are not able to access sufficient heat elsewhere...

What beautiful snakes and what great pics! Our Stimmie hatchy loves to sit on top of her cave in the click clack and watch the world go by. That is as high as she can get for now, but I will be interested to see whether she climbs much in the big enclosure when we move her into it...

Very nice stimmy you have there. How old is he? How big is the enclosure he's in now?
My stimmy male (Romeo) loves to climb and my female (Juliet) will mostly stay on the ground but she has climbed before.

Hey Aslan, they aren't chasing the heat from the fluro as they usually only go up there once it's off, and it actually doesn't put out much heat. I managed to get a really good temperature gradient...from about 35C down to about 26C with just heat cord and they use all of it so I think they just like getting up there.

Lazyboy the enclosure is a double, one on top of the other, that I made from a set of drawers. They each measure 700x400x400 and I left one of the drawers on the bottom. I've tried to go for the natural look with bark and rocks etc, and I'm really happy how it turned out.I have a Pilbara Stimmie in the top and a Gulf Stimmie in the bottom, both are yearlings, and both are looking awesome at the moment. That's the Pilbara in the photos. The Gulf decided to eat in her hide so I couldn't get any pics of her.

Hey niggz,
Just curious what kind of bark your using in the enclosure and where abouts did you get it from? I like the natural look you've gone for and i was hoping to achieve a similar look. My stimmies are getting ready to leave the click clacks and are venturing into the enclosures.
Thanks.

It's just pine bark from Big W. Costs about $6 for a big bag so it's pretty cheap.
