Cooling your enclosure

Well I've fixed my heating and now I'm looking ahead at cooling down the enclosure over summer. I have plans on making a small enclosure for in the house on really hot days as my snakes are out in my shed.

Has anyone needed to cool down there enclosure? If so how do you go about it?

RE: Cooling your enclosure

If you keep air flowing through it should bring temps down a bit. O/head or oscilating fan works well for me.

have nothing tuirned on during the hot days and a good air flow should cool the enclosure down enough.

RE: Cooling your enclosure

just put a small fan set on low in the enclosure and it should bring the temp down

RE: Cooling your enclosure

We were thinking of setting up a little fan system with some old computer fans. We'll use one to suck hot air out, and another to blow cool air in.

Will just make sure they're well covered so that snake can't get anywhere near the blades.

ice packs wrapped in a tea towel or pillow case works on the extra hot days.
