ahh we were just discussing this the other day that we should have a copperhead thread

they look very tiger snake like in the first few pics faltened out

and the lowlands colouring very bronze looking

Sometimes they are cool and ride the hook like a champion.
Other times they can be very flighty and jump all over the place.
They can also come up and 'bite* you on the hand that your tailing them with if they are very scared.
With copperheads and tigers i sometimes approach them slowly and just slide the hook under them and basicly lift the tail into my hand.Hook and tail.
No stress
From there i can just place it in the bag..
Dosnt always work though, and they can be super fast.

* By bite i just mean the head can touch your hand.

They were found about 10ks apart.
The light one is from Mornington,Bungower rd area
The darker one from Somerville Eramosa rd area..Very close,but i have found both these colorations in
some areas.
