No, the longer they are together will not increase the amount of eggs. It may increase the number of fertile eggs though.
Females produce a set amount of eggs each breeding season and matings have nothing to do with this amount. |

My male is actually bred by you and is a great snake. I bought from a guy who works at taronga. I checked on them this morning all is well, the female had defecated. Is that usual after a mating? Maybe she had enough and wanted him outta there ? |

interestingly i noticed most of the lengthy copulations up here occur in the cooler hours of the morning,2am onwards.i've seen 16 hr matings.
great foto's well done,an exciting time.hell its still exciting even when you've seen a thousand times,good luck.
