my rescues are always browns, carpets or bts and the occasional small eye or rbb, i miss out on all the 'lesser found snakes'.
such a pretty little snake but!

I have also come across a few blind snakes, people confuse them with baby browns and ring me in a panic

Naxx,
"Coral snake" is only a common name.
The "Australian Coral snake" is Brachyurophis australis
The "North American Coral snake" is Micrurus fulvius

I always forget if its black on yellow or red on yellow. oh well i guess i just wont go handling random red yellow and black striped snakes

That old saying only works for the 2 genera of North American Coral Snakes, is Central and South America it loses any conviction....eg M spixii etc etc
