council rat traps Hello where my Mum lives, it backs on to a resurve, parkland and if you get rat,s the Council places rat bait box,s like thay are green large and are chained and padlocked on to items now the point i would like to make, just think if all the Council,s across australia use them in the city and every where ele,s how manny rats mice eat bait,s then go and die down a hole and a snake find,s them still warm dyeing slowly how manny snakes are being posiend to death, it must have a afect on numbers on reptile life and mabe thats why you don,t see as manny as you once would across australia in the city,s. i know there is still snake,s around but it must take a toll on them now do thay know if a rat is baited or not and if thay died thay most likely would die down a hole .Have anyone ele,s have thought,s on this as i was thinking about this the other day and thought you just don,t see as many carpet,s around as i did as when i was a kid, ps i know we have to have these trap,s but it a shame if thay are also takeing a toll on our snake,as to as thay are better rat trap,s than bait box,s rat,s breed so fast that when the box is gone and maybe the local snake population the rat,s will be back faster than the snakes just a thought cheers rob |
