For what it's worth Belinda, I love Diamonds, have three.
Easy to keep especially in Sydney.

I will have Diamond hatchlings in January if you art interested.
Feel free to chaeck out the adults in my gallery.
Last year we sold them for $350, probably same price this year.
I have 4 Diamonds and I couldn't be happier. I also have 2 Female Darwin Carpets that were sold to me 2 years ago as an unrelated pair.....so I know what it is like to trust a breeder and later realise there just a schister.

Genreally, the rule is, if they do it once, they'll do it again. What you have to decide is if this guy is ignorant or just really wants to offload snakes. If the bubs are healthy and you know what your doing, then go for it. But maybe not such a good idea if you think you may ever need to go back to him for help (if you get a new species or whatever)
Make sure his snakes are in extremly good health otherwise you might find yourself in hot water if the snake gets sick.
Maybe get him to sign a doc stating his snakes are in good condition at the time of leaving his place. If you do this, make sure it states breed and sex aswell as anything that is identifiable about the snake (scars, unusual markings etc) and take photos and get him to sign the back as soon as you take the snake off his hands. If he refuses to sign anything that is reasonable, then dont buy. (sigh, the lawyer coming out in me)
It's a pitty you cant trust everyone out there. Ohwell.
Have fun and keep us updated with what happens

His snakes are really healthy. But the one I got is quite a fussy eater, I dont really mind though, i rather get the worse now and learn how to deal with it. Its just a couple of things he has said to me ( like wild snakes have larger heads due to larger prey size) has turned out to be false. But otherwise, he has a great setup and great animals.

Belinda, I paid $350 each for them. I got plenty of knowledge and enjoyment having them so I guess if I got back what I paid I would be happy

If it is just what he says then I wouldn't worry too much. Buy the snake and get advice from people who know what they're talking about.
If you decide to do the document thingo (I am gonna do one for when I buy my Stimmy) I am more than happy to write one up for you. You could even do it yourself, doesn't need to have lots of legal jargan, just make sure you BOTH sign it! Atleast that way you have all bases covered and he knows he cant stuff you around

That would be great! Thanks Amy, that would help me alot, I think that people might try and rip me off or mess with me as I am a teenager.
THanks!

I could understand if you were buying a GTP, but who is going to get litigious over a snake worth a few hundred dollars?
I personally wouldn't rely on a piece of paper with signatures on it, just buy from someone with a good name and reputation.

I agree nicole i think that would be alot of mucking around, you have to go on your feelings, if you think the reptile looks good, sounds good and has an overall good appearance buy it but if you have your doubts well dont buy it, ive bought from good breeders and have had feeding probs ect , i think it all depends on the reptile too as there all not the same.
