hi,
i'm posting this pic for a friend, this is her yearling darwin male she bred, it doesn't have any black, is this usual for darwins to have no black, i have been told you can't get hypo darwins, would love anybodys comments on this........

Yeah, looks alot different with out much black, compared to more "normal" Darwins

yes it's going to be very interesting to see how it developes,
i have 2 sisters to this guy, but 12 months older, the parents have
bred a few times with this being the only one that is known of
to have almost no black,
the parents are going to have another clutch of eggs very soon,
will be very interesting to see what comes out this time, i might
even have to invest in a male to put with his sisters in a few years,
i'm pretty sure there is still a couple siblings left from last season
still 4 sale...........

I have never heard of a hypo darwin but if there is any IMO that would be one. Hypos can have black on them, just not much, to me it looks like that darwin has less black than most darwins, i would call it a hypo.

I thought it looked like a Bredl in the first shot, but the head is unmistakable. Interesting to follow its progress.
