o and dont just pick a snake out from the breeder if u end up getting one...spend 5mins with each of them..i no 2 manny people who have had bad snakes(no bad just takes along time to get used to u and will bite you heaps) and then really good ones of the same breed...like jungles are supposed to be snappy..my sister got one and never bitten us..annd we are really rough with it to(breeder told us to so it gets used to be handled roughly)..and uno how your supposed to l et it settle..we had it in tank for about 3 houres and played with it and never bit us or showed any signs of discompfort.

some people would definantly argue that diamonds arnt hard to keep
i dont keep any but they are plentiful in the wild and live in some extreme conditions
that can get very cold in winter and extreme hot in summer
lots of peeps keep them with no problems

DPS is a hotly debated subject ,and the argument i hear is that lack of uv is the cause
but acedemics i have spoken too dont believe DPS exsists
people who are experianced diamond keepers would be the best to ask on there experiances and draw your own conclusion from that

i hope this helps you....
after dealing with many reptiles with problems...some times not the keepers fault...but the breeder,
privately , import & shop bought
ive found that before purchase....search not for the species first...but breeders
find ones that are genuine ,trusting.....& that have impeccable reputations.....with quality animals
make yourself a short list!
find out what different species they breed...
ask many questions about breed specifics....
that will definitely help you with species that you intend to keep for the next 20+yrs....its not short term!
