Yesterday I was wondering why a baby bhp was taking so long to leave the eggs, the head had been out for about 3 days.
The others were all out a couple of days ago.
This morning I decided that enough was enough, it was still alive, but the pic tells why it wasn't leaving the eggs.
It now resides in the freezer.

Poor little bugger.
Did you have any problems with the incubation at all??
Last year my old incubator had a mild heart attack and I had deformaties hatch as well

All the others in the clutch hatched normally, the only thing I did differently this year was to incubate at a slightly lower temp. I'm sure that had nothing to do with it and it was just one of those things that happen.

Not every human is born healthy with everything intact........don't see why it would be any different in the animal world! We wouldn't know about it as they would be snapped up by predators!!
