I am sure that many people will be happy to ship. Regarding keeping them, look to articles on this site. They are simmiler to take care of as coastals, just more dosile snakes.

Diamonds are great. There are a couple of colours Black & whites, black & yellow's,Black, gold & white some have very little black in them mainly yellows gold and white i thimk this depends on the region they originated from. There are a few different looking diamonds i think it all comes down to a personal preference.Great animals to keep and handle.

Thanks for that slateman I thought humidity was an issue but if they are as easy to look after as coastals i,m laughing . The colours sound good I,ll buy the first interstate then I,ll have a better chance of getting a differant colour by buying the second here in SA where I,ll be able to check it out .

Yeah jake, I think Diamonds are great too and also have three.
One 10month old mail and two feemales, twenty month old.
Can't wait to see them growing up.

Yes, exceeeeellllant .....i love em.
Will have hatchlings, never shipped before though, dont have to usually, people come to me.
Remember they are a Python from a cool envoronment, not over heating them seems to be the main thing to remember.
Some pretty clever people from this site have lots of good comments in these forums and some pretty interesting articles on Diamonds, check previous forum posts by smarter people than me.
Great snakes though, very handleable (probably a slatey word) and docile but still active and alert enough to get your attention at feed time.
Dont think youll be dissapointed with a diamond.

I've heard that Diamonds are one of the better pythons for keeping more than one in the same enclosure, anyone know if this is the case?

Yes that's ok, I'm keeping 2 and will have them in trios one day.
The last two breeders, both had quite a few together.
One in particular who kept his outside in an aviary, had kept all dif. sizes together for more then 10 years, with no prob.
Cheers
