I recently got a Diamond off Vitozzi, and its got a lump under his head on his throat which appears and goes away and sometimes he has a bit of foam that drips out of his mouth, and makes a sort of spitting/hissing sound ??? Im really worried.

Sounds like it may have a RI. Keep it at a constant 30-31 degrees and get it to a vet ASAP.

Ok so it could be a Respiratory Infection. Is it fatal if not fixed asap as im going away till tuesday night.

Yes, once it reaches an advanced stage, if left untreated, it is almost certain death. It sounds to be quite advanced in this case, so i would strongly advise you to get it to a vet tomorrow if at all possible.

What causes a RI ? Can anyone give me a rough price on what the vet will charge if it is RI as im short on cash though i care deeply about my snake.

How long ago did you buy it.
Contact the previous owner and see if it has ever had any problems before.

its about 18months old and i got it off a mate who is on these forums, i actually swapped it for a yearling spotted plus $100 though i havnt paid him yet. So ill see how much the vet is going to be before i pay him.

Took her to the Vet, what i thought was a male turned out to be a male, and he have her a shot of anti-biotics, and i got to go in for another one soon.
