Diamond lengths

Hi everyone,

Thought I'd ask a question of all the DP owners out there. Just curious as to the length of your (particularly adult) DPs and their sex /age. Would love it if you'd share and post pics too if you want... (can't resist photos!)

Thanks!

RE: Diamond lengths

Im suprised ya havent had any responses, lots of members here have some stunning diamonds.

My adults vary, I have a male thats only about 5 foot and its about 4 years old. Yet I have a female which is about 6 foot now and she is only 2 and a bit..! Just grows really quick but keeping the nice lean body.

Most adults I have seen are between 5-7 foot. Havent seen many bigger than that.

Ill post some photos later for you.

RE: Diamond lengths

Good question, Tempest. I've been wondering myself. My DP's dad was only 5 feet long and was pretty lean. He was 3 years old. One breeder I spoke to said he had a 10 foot female, but that sounds like the upper limit.

My diamonds all vary in size, but generally they are around the 6ft mark, I have one female that is a bit closer to the 7ft mark. The adults are from 6 years old and upward in age. I also have some high yellow yearlings coming through as future breeders.

probably about 2.4 metres is the longest but we picked up one that was only 1.8 but was massive. Huge head and girth. Much heavier than any other diamond we have encountered.
The longest confirmed was over 11 feet up the Coffs area.
