|  | Sponsor | Join Date: Jul-03 Location: Outside your window | | |  I have a question for the diamond breeders out there,as im not 100% on the sexes of my adults i have three in the same enclosure.My lil male is spuring the definate female & the other one i bought as a male but he keeps spuring him/her aswell.My question is will a male diamond spur another male or do i have 2 females in there with him?

My diamonds have been mating regularly for the last couple of weeks now. Now I have to play the waiting game.....

Always worth getting the other one sexed though, you never know!

This is known as the Magpie sexing method.

I have decided that breeding pythons is 10% getting condition right, 10% timing and 80% waiting.... You wait for cooling to end, then you wait for mating, then you wait for pre lay shed, then you wait for egg deposition, then finally you get to wait over two months for hatching. Best of all, at any stage of this fun fun cycle, you have no idea if everything up to that point has been successful.

|  | Sponsor | Join Date: Jul-03 Location: Outside your window | | |  Thanks everyone for your answers,i should go get the one im unsure of sexed as i think hes male but if he is he must be gay,im sure hes leading on the other male waving his tail like he is lol.I guess with regards to the girl i just have to play the waiting game,i am pretty stoked that i have got to watch the twitchin spurs as its bloody funny,& it looks alot more painfull than i ever imagined.Thanks once again to everyone fingers crossed for lil ones.
