I've been keeping diamonds for 19 years and have been breeding them for the last 12 years.

You dont have to apologise for anything

In my opinion there are a few things to look for to tell males from females. Females have more bulk to their bodies and grow longer. Males tend to have slim bodies (this tends to make their heads seem wider than females' in comparison to their bodies). Males have thinner tails and larger cloacal spurs that are shaped more like a hook than with females.

I've also noticed that a lot of males have smaller eyes than females when they become adults.

These are all little things that i have noticed over time, but i dont really recommend that anyone adhere to them as a viable way of sexing diamonds by appearance.

Wow they're so beautiful! I haven't owned one yet but I shall very soon. I don't know much about snakes but I was wondering if certain sex(s) suit certain ppl. i.e: a male snake handles better with a female lady vice versa..

Stunning snakes! In the UK they are still very rare and expensive, because very few people have been able to breed them. Nice to see such lovely examples.

Thumbs up Beautiful Diamonds

Cool shots of lovely Diamonds ST and it's good to see you behind the lens!

Rubydimond - Adult Diamonds shouldn't be probed as irreparable damage can occur to females, as they have paired ducts that can be mistaken for hemipenes.
It's best to use certain external features to determine the gender of Diamonds as Serpenttongue advised (thanks for that list of features ST).
May I add that females have relatively shorter tails that taper more abruptly after the vent.
