diamond python

hey, might be a bit of a dumb question but i am fairly new to this whole snake thing, but how big will a diamond grow too? i have heard different opinions but some people say around 3 - 3.5m. Is this correct?

Thanks. Dave

more like 2m on average, but i caught a huge one about 15 years ago which would have been 3 or more metres ( but i was smaller then too).

No, i dont belive you can gauge it off the parents.

Just work off 2m.

Females will genneraly grow bigger than males.

I think things that will determine size are more like, feeding, prey size, housing etc.

what size tank would adequate for a 2m python?

Everyone i have spoken to has said that the diamonds are very placid and make excellent pets. Some seem a lot moer yellow than others. Does the colouring of the snakes change much over their life or is a yellow juvenile going to stay yellow?

the size it depends on how much you feed it.. my one is 3 years old and 1.1m and my friends is 3 years old and 2.5m... I fed mine once every two weeks and he fed his every week so it differs...
