Sxereturn i wouldn't start going back to far i remember when you first started and some of the questions you posted on australianherps.

I was keeping repitles before licenses were introduced, i had quite a little collection going when i found out about licenses.
Reptiles existed before licenses.

I'd love to keep arguing with a 17 yr old but this thread is already way off topic.
Let me know if you find out anything else about me on google.....
and you reckon I'm pathetic.
Gotta go.

Haha, someone sent me that link but hey.

NoOne - ...point being? I've been keeping for just over 4 years. My first snake was a spotted python, and I was scared as hell of that thing because it would constantly bite me. Nothing to hide here.

Who is doing the bragging? If anything, I am defending the people who haven't been keeping for a long time...

Thanks for noticing Mick.
Apparently everything is ok if you have one of them.

I guess all the compliments have gone to sxe's head.
Still we all have our off days. Mine just dont seem to take a break.

I keep my diamonds outside because I live in Sydney and I can. I used to keep them inside with a temp gradient from 12 c in the bottomlevel to 35c at the top. the lower level often used during winter but mostly by the intergrade. the Diamond would often sit near the top of the enclosure. If they can bask tey can attain good bodies temps but if they are reliant on ambient temps then mid 30s is in my opinion the optimum for hottest part of the enclosure while 18-22 in the cooler parts. I used to drop the overall temp in winter by 10c but had the basking light come on for 4 hours without a thermostat connected to it.
These are what I did and I dont expect everyone to agree but it worked for me.
Peter
