I don't think her head is quite big enough for small adults yet. When she took her pinkie from the tweezers on sunday she bit at the stomach and had trouble getting the sides of her mouth around the head and tail. I'll probably go with rat pinkies next week.... with no sherbet of course. |

Never under-estimate your snake.
A 50cm long python can easily take a small adult mouse.

hi jet i have a similar sized snake and its a darwin (North-western ) carpet python and he has been on fuzzies for the past 5 weeks and doesn't seem to have a problem.
I moved onto fuzzies as soon as i couldn't see a bulge in his stomach the day after i fed him

its probably best not to handle the snake after you have fed him/her for about a day just to give it time to digest the mouse.
Bu t i know alot of ppl that do handle their snakes straight after they fed them and not have a problem but this is just what i do.
