Smile diamond pythons in qld

I used to live in Vic and had a diamond python there and now am in QLD, I've heard that they dont do well here, so im wanting to confirm that as i would love another one. so if anybody has a diamond in qld, let me know how its going.

I've never kept them, so I'll not offer advice on the matter.

What I will say is that I know of one breeder who's at least fairly well known in the Brisbane area, who (used to, I assume still does) keep them in outdoor enclosures.

I'd imagine as long as you give it somewhere cool to get away from the heat it would be fine.

I keep Diamonds both indoors and outdoors and they thrive. You obviously keep the cage out of constant direct sun and allow them a few hours a day to bask. Inside just try and keep them a little cooler but mine are in my reptile room and are doing well.
