My Diamond seems to be going in and out of a shed if thats possible??
its eye's went opaque and he was hiding for s few days so i thought it would happen then
But now his eyes have somewhat cleared up with his pupils looking thicker and he's back out on his branch
???
Iv'e also searched his enclosure high and low and there's no signs of a shed
Hes kept at 28-30 deg and he's fed about every seven to nine days
Any ideas?  |

Their eyes will clear up a few days before shedding. Just give it a couple of days and see how he goes.

my diamond would do the same
he would go really opaque then a few days before he was going to shed he would clear up and wouldnt look like he was going to shed at all

My DP's last shed was a couple of weeks ago and her eyes cleared up for about 4-5 days before she finally shed.
It was the first time I've actually seen the entire shedding process. She started by really scraping her head along a branch, then her bottom jaw and it finally started to peel back. It took a while because she didn't get the skin hooked on something so it just kind of rolled back. I ended up holding onto the rolled up skin then she got out of really quickly.
She looks tops again now. Keeps colouring up every shed.

just before they shed they go into normal colour then in a couple of days they shed.. i was also surprised at first but i know bout it now.. my diamond is due for a shed tonight so ill be posting some new pics :-)

Thanks guys,
I came home tonight and he had shed all is well.. it's his first shed since i bought him so i'm really happy..
the only thing is i looked at his shed and he shed around his head but the eye skins are missing and like i said his pupils are expanded so he has'nt shed his lenses
it doesn't seem to bother him although i know it can't be good
its never happened to me before so should i do the whole wet pillow case thing?
Or any other suggestions??
