The integrades don't require UV lights. Give him half an hour a week in sun (or more, it won't hurt him) and thats all he needs. Uv lights are just an expense that isn't necessary. In the wild they come out to bask in very early morning sunlight then they hide for most of the day. They don't get much UV from the moon at night. Hope this helps

Ok fine then he has a hybrid. Either way it still doesn't need UV lighting.
I know the difference between an intergrade and cross. Crosses are created by irresponsible breeders, IMO.

I wouldn't worry too much. I handle mine when I want to, cloudy or sunny. I take the lid of their box off, take them out, put them back away. They settle again. They aren't going to fret.

Take him out as much as you want but it isn't going to hurt him if you don't take him out.

thanks | hi james,
if it's cloudy there is still uv, remember when we were told to cover up even if it is cloudy, you can even stand under a shady tree and he will still get uv, but don't stress about having to take him outside in the sun, some snakes never see the outside and live very well for many years, how many big breeders that have hundreds of snakes take everyone out in the sun every week, NONE,
so just take him out when your happy doing it, even once a month is more then most snakes get, it's your call if you want to wake him up or not, lol,
