Why do you think this?

They are just one of many locality type Carpets on the east coast, look at them as the "transition" between Carpets and Diamonds, as they evolved to conform with enviromental pressures.

Just like Rednecks becomes more Metro-Redneck the closer to a City they move, Diamonds became Darker the futher south they went, just trying to fit into their habitat

That dictates that diamonds and carpets at some stage became isolated from each other then joined up again to form intergrades. Unfortunately the DNA data doesnt support this and they are just Morelia spilota ssp regional variations or locality types. If what you say is the case then M.s.mcdowelli would be an integrade of M.s.spilota and M.s.cheynii wouldnt it?

i really don't know fay, these are the first diamond x coastals i've seen up close as hatchlings,

the father was diamond in their case,
